What if I need to cancel a service?
If you have to cancel a service, just send us a message as soon as possible, preferably, the night before if it's for a dog walk. For boarding, please tell us as soon as possible so we can give the spot to another client.
what size dog do you accept for boarding?
We cater to small dogs up to 35 lbs. We provide love and constant supervision in our fenced in yard.
What are the requirements for boarding?
Dogs must come in clean and healthy, no coughing, no exceptions!
Be up to date with proof of vaccines ( Bordetella, rabies, distemper) from your veterinarian. Bring your dog's food. We supply beds . Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and not have separation anxiety. We cater to small dogs.
What happens during a meet and greet?
Meet and greets are for deciding if you want to board your dog, NOT for meeting every dog that stays. We do the introductions slowly, and keep dogs separated from the resident dogs if needed.
For dog walking, how will you get to my dog to let dog out or walk?
We require a set of keys . We will not put your address on the key, only your pet's name. Another set should be left with a nearby neighbor as a backup. Even garage codes can fail in bad weather.
What about inclimate weather?
If there is severe weather(blizzard/severe rainstorm) and you are staying home from work, please notify us. We do our best to get there but if it is not safe to travel, have an emergency back up , such as a friend or neighbor nearby. If we do end up taking your dog out for a walk in a severe rainstorm, note that the walk will be shortened, and the rest of the time will be spent with your dog inside the house to keep dog out of crate, etc.
Why do you need my veterinary information?
We will require your pet's veterinary info. and you will tell them that your pet is in our care, just in case your pet needs to be treated.
